While it may seem like its going to be a yearly thing, I doubt that after Halo 4, we'll get Halo 5 in I think that will come out with the new Xbox in Bungie didn't sell it to Microsoft has owned the rights to Halo since they bought out Bungie and still has it even after Bungie gained it's independence.
Microsoft still has the rights to Halo and are allowing to develop new Halo games. Teh Spearhead. Bungie isn't making Halo anymore. They are working on other things. So that's fine if you don't want anymore Halo games. You can't say Bungie is better unless you have seen i in action for yourself. And after seeing some of the gameplay on Halo CE Anniversary. I am happy to say i'm switching over pretty easily. I'll still remain a Bungie fan but at the end of the day, they aren't making Halo anymore.

They killed Cortana and turned her into a cringy villian.
They also reduced the difficulty level. New Halo only looks like a money grab. They removed the covenent and replaced it with fake ass covenent remnant and a single shitty forerunner ship. Didact, The legendary forerunner commander was used very poorly. Overall the game's storyline is not that appealing. Which one do you want, A pretty game but its not fun aka Or a game thats fun even though its graphics are not the greatest aka bungie. As a halo gamer, I would choose fun.
Because did create a good graphic game which i give them that but its gameplay did meet the standards of continuing the halo series.
The guns were too technological. The covenant look nothing like their real self. And halo 5 has no splitscreen so you are forced not to play with your friends unless they have an Xbox and you can play with them. This not fun at all because bungie had splitscreen for campaign and multiplayer that is more fun than having to play a better graphic game that you also buy armor using real money and is not fun. Even gameplay aspects are stupid, Why do weapons glow? If i want to build a nice arsonel, How am i supposed to make it look rugged and militeristic if its glowing blue?
Reach will beat any new halo game bar none. It better because it is so fun and better ai because of it being able to look through glass listen I just want to vote and not make a book on it so im gonna ramble on about jelly beans, They are tasty, But the bean boozled ones are gross. I don't care what a bunch of biased reviews online say, Halo 3 was absolute garbage and actually kept me away from the series for a long time because I thought there was nothing left in it for me.
It's back to having some promise and some good showings, Bungie no longer being responsible helped the series drastically. Back, in the day I loved Halo for what it was. Me and my sibling playing split screen. Then Halo Reach came along. Every single thing about Reach was broken.
