One of the most colorful characters in Red Sox history, Everett played for the Red Sox from After winning a World Series ring with the White Sox in , he played his last year of professional ball in with the Newark Bears.
Everett now lives in Tampa and has been spotted at multiple celebrity events recently. RP Ugueth Urbina. Urbina has a two-season run with the Red Sox from and finished his career with the Phillis in October In November , Urbina was arrested on attempted murder charges after being accused of attacking workers on his farm with a machete and pouring gasoline on them in an attempt to light them on fire. He was convicted and served 7.
After his release from prison, Urbina returned to baseball at the age of 38 to play for the Lions of Caracas in Venezuela. Urbina is married to Venezuelan actress Daniela Navarro.
The couple had their first child in Miller, who won a batting title with the Red Sox during his three-year run in Boston, make the jump to coaching after his career ended. He began as a special assistant to the general manager with the Los Angeles Dodgers before jumping to the Chicago Cubs as a hitting coach in Mueller joined the St. Louis Cardinals in and currently serves as their assistant hitting coach.
OF Jose Canseco. He last played in the majors in , but had a long run in independent leagues. In fact, he's played professionally as recently as , when he signed on to play a three-game series for the Pittsburg Diamonds at the age of However, the network chose not to renew Canseco's contract in response to a series of controversial tweets regarding sexual assault.
OF Troy O'Leary. He had short runs in Korea and Mexico after that before retiring. In , he was asked what he would do differently in his career. His answer: "Not go to Korea. He started out as a shortstop but was moved over to third base to make room for an up-and-coming rookie named Nomar Garciaparra. After his playing days ended, Valentin got into coaching, starting out as a hitting coach for the Double-A Binghamton Mets which were renamed the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in He currently serves as the assistant hitting coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

He owns Mike Greenwell's Family Fun Park, which features batting cages, go-karts, rides, mini golf and an arcade. He also owns 31 Produce , a Florida farmstand that also features a petting zoo and cafe.
Hillenbrand started his career in Boston, making an All-Star team in His relationship with the team went sour in , when he was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks. After his playing days, Hillenbrand admitted that his tendency to speak his mind tended to get him in trouble.
It's tough for me to keep my mouth shut. At the time, Hillenbrand and his wife were running Marley Farms, a acre facility for rescued animals. Hillenbrand now works in real estate under the label Shea Hillenbrand International in Arizona and runs a non-profit effort called the Against All Odds Foundation. Notably, Hillenbrand recently appeared on an episode of House Hunters International where he and his wife were looking for a vacation home in Mexico.
Daubach played in Boston from and returned for the season. After his playing career ended, Daubach jumped into coaching. He started out as hitting coach for the Nashua Pride in He currently serves as the hitting coach for the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs. C Scott Hatteberg. Hatteberg was a Red Sox catcher from , but is more well-known for his "Moneyball" tenure with the Oakland Athletics from Hatteberg currently serves as a special assistant to baseball operations for the A's organization.
RP Alan Embree. Embree was a key lefty out of the bullpen during the Red Sox's World Series run. Embree returned to Boston at the end of his career in on a minor league deal but was let go before appearing in a game. After his playing days ended, Embree went into coaching. In , he was named the pitching coach of the Bend Elks of the West Coast League collegiate summer baseball. Embree is now listed as the head coach of the Elks. RP Keith Foulke. The closer for the series run returned to the Red Sox organization in , returning to the club as a developmental consultant.
