Laxmanan lives with Bhuvana and is estranged from his first wife Sundari Yuvarani and her son Akil. Unfortunately Manickam mistakes Thulasi of siding with Bhuvana and tries to commit suicide. He was saved but he continues to hate Thulasi. Thulasi tries to explain her stance to him which goes in vain. Meanwhile, Laxmanan overwhelmed by the sufferings of his first wife Sundari and hurt by the audacity of Bhuvana, throws Bhuvana out of their house and starts living with Sundari.
In order to save his prestige and status, Laxmanan gets his second son Prabhakar marry Deepa Hemalatha — the friend of Thulasi. Upset by the treacherous behavior of his second wife and poor health, Laxmanan dies owing to heart attack. Prabhakar is being lured by his Ex-lover Suchi for monetary purposes. Prabhakar gives Suchi a job at his and Tamils new share-trading office.
At first Tamil is against the idea of having Suchi into his office, but he eventually starts to like Suchi and he accepts her into their office. Kalyani decides to teach Padma a suitable lesson on being advised by her mother. Kalyani's mother dies and her sisters are in care of Padma. Prabha finds out that before his marriage Kanagu used to love Deepa so he plans to take revenge on Kanagu. Prabha makes Kanagu lose his hotel. Kalyani's younger sister, srajeshwaris puberty function approaches and Padma plans to make the function grand thus making a big burden on Mohan for the cost.
Although Thulasi and Deepa find out that Suchi is up to no good they cannot prove it to their husbands. Eventually the truth about Suchi comes into limelight and she is fired.
Deepa then figures out that Prabhakar was the one who closed Kanagu's hotel, and Deepa goes to her dad's house. Kanagu reopens his hotel but Deepa is reluctant to live with such a low-minded person.
Tamil and Thulasi try to unite the couple but Deepa's dad is against the idea. When Deepa's dad goes to confront Prabhakar about all the mistakes that he has made, Prabhakar pushes him out of his house.
Mohan and Kalyani try to sell Kalyani's old house and they plan to invest that money on shares. Meanwhile Prabhakar decides to divorce Deepa.
Deepa got dropped out of college. Thulasi's college close done because of the college owners personal life problem. After the day finished they relises it is the deepas dad who is driving and go they do something to them and he went missing. Deepa concentrates in looking for her dad does not worry about her education while thulasi and thamizh are busy trying to find and college and fail in finding Thamizh asks his friend and the go to a political person who owns a college, thulasi find a college but not in Chennai in pandicherry where thamizh and a college student swope phone Nila they introduce them self and relise thulasi and Nila go to the same College.
